Stock analysts are forecasting that the Danish jewelry designer and manufacturer Pandora’s Initial Public Offering (IPO) sometime later this year will eventually launch the company straight into the OMX-C20 of main Danish companies.

Sydbank analyst Søren Løntoft Hansen tells Reuters that an IPO will give the Danish company a market value of between DKK 23 million and DKK 27 billion, more than double that of natural ingredient developer Chr. Hansen which had its IPO in June this year.

Hansen says he expects Pandora’s Offering Memorandum to be published at the end of September or beginning of October.

Pandora CEO Mikkel Vendelin Olesen tells Reuters that going public is the right thing to do.

“In this way I am sure that I as Managing Director can follow our strategy and hopefully one day realize our vision of being the best-known jewelry brand in the world,” Vendelin tells Reuters.

Pandora designs and produces its jewelry and other products in more than 45 countries. Founded in 1982, it currently has 4,500 employees, 3,000 of whom are in Thailand. Its 2009 revenue was at DKK 3.5 billion.
