Zealand police are calling for witnesses or information surrounding the discovery early this morning of a partially dressed man who was found on the Vestmotorvejen motorway near Bjæverskov in central Zealand.

The as yet unidentified man, who is believed to be in his 50s, was still alive when police arrived at the scene at around 3 a.m. this morning, but died shortly afterwards.

“He has a lot of grazes. One possibility is that he fell out of a car, or was pushed out,” says Deputy Supt. Ove Petersen of the Central and Western Zealand Police.

The man was wearing a green t-shirt and white underpants. The t-shirt bore the Swedish inscription “Satan i Gatan. Veronica Maggio”. Satan i Gatan is the name of a studio album by the Swedish singer Veronica Maggio. The phrase ‘Satan i gatan” means ‘the devil in the street’ and is a Swedish expression of surprise.

“We have had no reports of a missing person matching the man’s description,” Petersen says.

The man had a bushy beard with a plait and wore an orange necklace.

A post mortem is to be carried out later today.
