Those looking for an Indian summer are going to have to wait and hope it seems. The Met Office says that a front will be passing Denmark tomorrow that will dump some 20mm of rain across most regions of the country.

“We thought that the north would remain dry, but it looks as though the whole country will be getting rain,” says DMI Duty Meteorologist Klaus Larsen.

“In fact we’ll be getting as much (rain) in one day as we get in half a month,” he adds.

Southern regions will be getting most of the rain, while northern regions may get away with 5-10mm. And the rain will continue on Saturday, although it will not be as heavy.

The weekend will also bring the first signs of an approaching winter. On Saturday night temperatures will drop to between 3 and 8 degrees, and on Sunday night in Jutland even down close to freezing.
