Track maintenance personnel at Banedanmark, which maintains the country’s
railway tracks and repairs points and signal faults, are on strike,
according to Ekstra Bladet.
“Banedanmark treats its employees badly. We have no idea what is going on and
they don’t respect us. I have no idea when I am to get a day off, and that
is unacceptable,” Ekstra Bladet quotes Kenneth, who is believed to be the
maintenance staff spokesman, as saying .
Neither Banedanmark nor the national railway carrier DSB were able to confirm
that maintenance staff are on strike. DSB tells politiken.dk that train
services are normal so far this morning.
