The polls seem to signal hard times for the senior ruling coalition partner, the Liberal Party, and Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen is the target of some criticism from within, as a new generation of Liberals calls for a reshuffle.

"Birthe Rønn Hornbech and Troels Lund Poulsen were novelties after the last election. There were a lot of Liberals who wanted a bit more than that," Herning's Mayor Lars Krarup (Lib) told TV2.

Abstract
"When you see the same people talking about the same things for ages and ages, you get a sort of metal fatigue. I think it would be good if we saw a reshuffle - and I think we will have one soon," he says.

Krarup says he wants clearer answers from his party to everyday problems such as gang crime, and not so much focus on abstract themes and commissions.
