Foreign investors offloading

The Danish central bank reports record trade in Danish stocks and bonds.

The trade in Danish stocks and bonds reached a 3-year record in October, running up to DKK 70 billion, according to Danmarks Nationalbank.

Foreign investors have offloaded Danish stocks and bonds to such an extent that foreign holdings of Danish securities are now down at DKK 614 billion - the lowest level for some three years.

Last month, foreign investors offloaded some DKK 27 billion - 10 billion in stocks and 17 billion in bonds.

On the other hand, Danish investors have been selling DKK 44 billion worth of foreign securities - DKK 27 billion in stocks and DKK 17 billion in bonds. Main offloaders here have been pension and insurance funds and unit trusts.
