Schønnemann has been resurrected as one of the city’s best luncheon restaurants devoted to the best smorgasbord around – for example caramel herring and herring tartar. Many of the Danish open sandwiches cost between DKK 60 and DKK 100, and few people would be able to eat more than two of them with a glass of beer.

Schønnemann is classical in its form and uncompromising in its finish. Service is efficient, friendly and full of character and personality – you feel you are in safe hands.

No wonder that Schønnemann’s was recently nominated for Best Service at this year’s Annual Gericke Awards for the best restaurants in Denmark.

In the Danish Luncheon and open sandwich category – it just doesn’t get much better than this.
