The city’s electronic flagship Culture Box is without doubt the closest you get to a hard core Berliner Minimal Techno in Copenhagen.

The club often offers foreign and particularly German DJs, but also leading Danish names such as Trentemøller have been at the favourite haunt of techno-loving Copenhageners.

In April, Culture Box expanded with its Cocktail Box, which is a bit softer and more laid back.

Cocktail Box offers DJs, cheap drinks and antipasti/tapas. And if you prefer drinking, Cocktail Box has a powerful offer titled ‘Take 2’. From 7 p.m. until midnight you can have two cocktails from the list for a mere DKK 100.

After midnight, you’re even allowed to smoke in the combined coffee/cocktail bar.
