The number of Danes who have contracted H1N1 influenza – also known as swine flu – has now reached 36, according to the National Board of Health.

The Board says that all Danish cases of H1N1 are related to travel. Twenty-two people have contracted the influenza strain while abroad, while the rest have been infected by a person who has been abroad.

The pattern of infection is expected to continue, and more cases of H1N1 are expected in Denmark during the summer.
