Camilla Broe has been picked up in Denmark by U.S. marshals and is now on her way to the United States where she faces charges in connection with the smuggling of 160,000 ecstasy pills to the United States.

Broe is the first Dane to be extradited to a non-EU country and her extradition comes after the Appeals Permission Board declined a petition to appeal her extradition to the Danish Supreme Court.

She is currently on her way to Miami in Florida where she is expected to be presented before a judge on Tuesday of next week.
