The H1N1 epidemic has cost the life of another Dane at the weekend – a man in his 30s who was suffering from a chronic illness – bringing to four the number of Danes who have succumbed to complications in connection with H1N1.

A 60-year-old died last week and a 30-year-old the week before, while a middle aged Danish lorry driver died of the illness in Norway in September.

Over 100,000 Danes are currently infected with the H1N1 virus, many of whom are children.

The authorities have advised those with flu symptoms to remain at home, and only contact the doctor if high temperatures persist for more than a couple of days.
