Rumours at the Bella Center earlier today that President Obama may not come for the final day of the COP15 Climate Summit seem to have been shot down by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

“President Obama plans to take part in the meetings tomorrow,” Clinton told a news conference.

But she concluded her news conference saying: “Hopefully there is something to come for”.

Rumours began circulating earlier in the day that President Obama was reconsidering his trip to Denmark when sources close to the negotiations told TV2 that there was uncertainty whether the president would come in the light of the current stranded state of negotiations.
