The United Nations has asked delegations to remain in place to reach an agreement.

The United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has asked world delegations to remain in Copenhagen at least overnight in order to try to reach agreement on a climate deal, according a Reuters report citing the European Union’s Climate Commissioner Stavros Dimas.

Danish hosts at the Bella Center have also been asked to stay open during the weekend so negotiations can continue.
