The best things in life are free at a time when the economic crisis is biting hard and people are worried about losing their jobs.
At least that is what it seems from a MetroXpress survey that shows that the number of visitors to Denmark's dating portals has grown quite considerably.
“We can see that the attitude seems to be that it is a good idea to save on evenings out and be online instead. Normally, Fridays and Saturdays are not days that people are online, but that has changed since December,” Nigel Rasmussen of Elitedaters.dk says.

Runningdinner.dk has experienced a 30 percent increase compared with last year and Dating.dk has had a 25 percent increase.
