Some 250 readers of the Politiken.dk website have responded to reports that Denmark is one of the few EU countries that has not seen an increase in the number of tourists and is losing market share to neighbouring countries.
Many of the contributions claim that Copenhagen is swimming in dirt and pizza cartons, service is rude, summer houses in the country are too expensive, the tourism industry is too greedy and the weather not particularly good.
