Denmark’s Foreign Minister Per Stig Møller (Conservative) is prepared for a showdown with Russia at today’s NATO foreign minister meeting in Brussels.
“If Ukraine and Georgia were members of NATO, they would not be attacked. The dangerous period is right now because the NATO process has not yet begun. That is why it has happened in Georgia. If they were part of NATO, the Russians would not attack them militarily,” says Per Stig Møller.
