Copenhagen Council’s Child and Youth Committee is considering opening up pre-schools for Danish children in Sweden in order to help solve a problem with too few kindergartens in the metropolitan area. At the same time, the council is considering employing Swedish pre-school teachers to look after children.
Construction on hold According to a report in Berlingske Tidende, a memorandum from Copenhagen Youth Administration has put forward proposals on how to solve a dearth of institutional child care, which has been made worse by the government’s hold on council construction.
