Aid & Development Minister Ulla Tørnæs wants more transparency about fraudulent dealings in Danish foreign aid projects. The minister is prepared to make National Audit Office reports of abuse and corruption available to the public.
“Government policy is that we do not accept fraud and we have no wish to hide details,” Tørnæs told Ritzau, adding that she plans to find ways to create more openness about cases reported to the auditors.
