There is an increase in the number of Danes being granted early retirement. According to a new report from the Appeals Board (AB) cited by 24timer, the increase is particularly due to an increase in the number of those suffering from psychological complaints.
“We can see that psychological ailments are predominant and the cause of some 48% of all new early retirement cases. Among the 20-39 year-olds these complaints are up at 80%,” says AB Department Head Niels Arendt Nielsen.
