Historic Jutland church removal begins

Work has begun to dismantle Mårup Church, a 13th century place of worship perched perilously on eroding cliffs in western Jutland. The picturesque chapel, which has been de-consecrated, is to be stored elsewhere until a new location has been found further inland.

The first item to be moved was an anchor retrieved from a sunken, 18th century English frigate.
