The government expects to increase its revenue from oil production in the North Sea, and political parties have major plans for spending the proceeds even before the billions of kroner have rolled into the Treasury.
The government has raised its forecast on oil prices and expects oil revenues to provide DKK 41.5 billion, according to the Economic Report (Økonomisk Redegørelse) out today.
