Economists: government too optimistic

Government forecasts in its Finance Bill that house prices will fall four percent this year and two percent next year are too optimistic, according to a panel of bank economists surveyed by Ritzau and RB-Børsen.

Seven out of twelve economists are much more pessimistic than the government, while five agree with government estimates. None of the economists envisage a rise in housing prices.
