It used to be called the New Alliance. Now it’s the Liberal Alliance, and it’s logo has gone from red to blue. Naser Khader and Anders Samuelsen, who want to start anew and profile their party as Denmark’s most liberal party, have now presented their innovation.
Get rid of early retirement
“Since Anders Fogh Rasmussen began to sing along with the Social Democrats, liberal voters have been homeless,” said Naser Khader in presenting his party’s new platform.
Away with early retirement, down with taxes, shorter unemployment benefit periods and a trial of a user pay health system. And definitely a non-socialist prime minister.
