When the public prosecutor attempted to show the lower court last year that the Colombian rebel organization FARC is a terrorist organization, some of the evidence was based on information extracted under torture, according to the Fighters+Lovers defence.
The claim, however, was roundly rejected by Justice Minister Lene Espersen (Cons.). Nonetheless, the defence claims that the prosecution will be using the same, and new, material obtained through torture in the appeal case that starts in the High Court today.
