Young Danes start drinking early, causing more and more very young women to have to be admitted for detoxification according to Metroxpress.
“The average age for women (ed: on detox) is getting lower and lower. Five years ago it was 45 and now it’s down at 35. We have helped a lot of women in their early 20s and down to 18,” says Pia W. Thybo, head of the Behandlingscenter Himmerland (Treatment Centre Himmerland).
