There has been yet another shooting episode in the centre of Copenhagen. Two people contacted a police patrol on Gothersgade in the city centre and led them to Boltens Gård where they found a man shot in the leg. Police say, however, that the man appeared to have been shot elsewhere. Boltens Gård is a restaurant and night club location off the Kgs. Nytorv square.
Police officers are currently investigating an area around Christianshavn, to determine whether the shooting took place there. It remains unclear why the man moved into the inner city before reporting the incident and it is not clear whether the incident is connected to an ongoing turf war between immigrant gangs and the Hells Angels biker organization.
