The oldest man in Denmark is celebrating his 107th birthday today, but has already planned his 110th birthday.
Martin Gammelgaard still lives in his own home in the west Jutland port of Esbjerg. Born in 1901 he was trained as a butcher and continued his métier in Esbjerg until the age of 78. He still makes his own meals, and not least sharpens his own knives.
