The Copenhagen Municipal Court has sentenced three police officers to 60 and 40 days in prison for undue violence in using batons, hitting and using psychological violence against two young men they arrested in March 2007

The officers, who were absent during the reading of the sentence, deny having used any form of violence during the arrests, which took place during the clearance of a controversial youth squatter centre in Copenhagen last year.
