There was a sigh of relief at police headquarters in Aalborg overnight after British and Danish soccer fans had a festive and peaceful night following a Champions League game in which Manchester United beat the home team AaB 3-0.
"Everything took place in sporting spirit both on, and off the field when the game was over," said Duty Officer Peter Redder.
