Russia Tsar Nicholas II and his family have been ruled by Russia’s Supreme Court to have been the victims of political repression and the court has called for their rehabilitation. Previously their deaths had been termed as murder.
Georgia European Union observers have begun their monitoring of Russia’s withdrawal from Georgia. The 200-odd observers are placed in buffer zones around South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
