After one of the most turbulent and volatile weeks on the Stock Exchange for many years, Danish stocks took a booster on opening this morning, jumping some five percent.
Dealers and analysts had expected the rise in the wake of U.S. markets closing in positive territory. The Dow Jones rose by 4.6 percent and the Standard and Poor’s 500 rose over four percent – both chasing the Nasdaq which bumped up a full 5.5 percent.
