Many Asian markets closed well up this morning with the Nikkei and HangSeng levelling out at plus 10 percent and South Korea's Kospi booming up 12 percent with others in the region noting some four percent.
Asia's optimism came in the wake of a U.S. Federal Reserve decision to lower interest rates to one percent, which did not, however, reflect on Wall Street which ended trading at around par.
