The Socialist People's Party is against the euro in its current form, according to its party leader Villy Søvndal.
Søvndal says the euro system needs more transparency and control of the capital market, efforts to curb speculation, more control of the flow of money to tax havens and more consideration for employment and social needs if the Socialist People's Party is to reconsider its opposition.
