An election today would give the opposition 90 mandates and the government and its parliamentary support party the Danish People's Party 85 mandates according to a weekend Megafon poll for TV.

The Socialist People's Party continues the advances of recent months, with the poll suggesting an increase of nine mandates on its election result to garner 32 seats in parliament, making it the third largest party in the chamber.
