It seems that investors have regained their optimism on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange with the benchmark C-20 index holding a three percent rise around noon.
Top of the list is the wind turbine manufacturer Vestas which posted a 16 percent rise at noon, probably on the back of optimism that Barrack Obama will win the U.S. presidential election. Obama is generally seen as being more favourably inclined towards a shift to sustainable energy than his counterpart John McCain.
