Nationalbanken has cut Danish interest rates to five percent with effect from November 7, following in the wake of cuts by the European Central Bank and the Bank of England.

The European rate is now at 3.25 percent, while the Bank of England slashed a whopping 1.5 percentage points to land on 3 percent.
