Spain The Spanish authorities have announced that the alleged military mastermind of the Basque separatist organisation ETA has been detained in an operation in Cauterets in the province of Haute-Pyrénées in France. Garikoitz Azpiazu Rubina, nicknamed Txeroki, joins ETA's political head Javier López Peña in detention. He was arrested in Bordeaux in May.
