The Danish Defence Force purchased a field hospital 10 years ago that overall has cost some 500 million kroner, but that has only been out of mothballs for exercises in Poland and Germany - and will probably never be used otherwise, according to B.T.
The hospital includes 93 rubber tents, 60 trucks, and 66 containers - all full of computers, operating rooms and other medical equipment. It costs some 40-50 million kroner each year to maintain.
