Norway has announced that it is to purchase 48 American JSF combat aircraft to modernise its airforce, putting Sweden's SAAB Gripen out of the running in Norway's northermost European member.
That, according to Henrik Breitenbauch of the Danish Institute for Military Studies, makes it more likely that Denmark will go the same way.
