Super-trucks will mean fewer but larger trucks on Danish roads, giving an annual saving of some 70,000 tonnes of CO2, according to the Danish Transport and Logistics federation.
The statistics have been released in connection with a trial period for supertrucks that starts today in various parts of the country.
