Consumer pessimism seems to be on the wane following record low confidence in October. According to Statistics Denmark, consumer confidence may still be in negative territory, but has risen from minus 16.6 in October to minus 11.5 in November.
Statistics Denmark says that the improvement in the indicator shows that Danes in general have more confidence in the Danish economy improving in a year's time compared to today, and that confidence now is better than a year ago. The statistical office does point out, however, that both remain in negative territory.
