Several financial sources have confirmed in Børsen today that negotiations are under way for a new bank rescue package in order to make it easier for companies to borrow money and keep employees.

"We are receiving a lot of reports at the moment from our member companies saying that it is difficult to borrow because banks are reducing their loan portfolios," says Kent Damsgaard of the Danish Confederation of Industries DI.
