The Danish government has decided that the Absalon, which is patrolling waters off the Horn of Africa is to remain in place for at least a few more months.
Absalon had been due to return to Denmark in mid-January, but as a result of renewed pirate attacks on cargo vessels recently, her tour has been extended to April.
