Thailand A State of Emergency has been declared at both Bangkok airports that have been taken over by demonstrators demanding the resignation of the country's prime minister. There are rumours that a military coup may be on the way to break the deadlock. Denmark's Crown Prince and Princess who have been on an official visit to Thailand, are expected to be able to leave the country tomorrow in a private aircraft.
China China appears to have cancelled a planned Sino-EU summit because of the French president's decision to meet the Dalai Lama in Poland. France was to have hosted the summit in France on December 1. Archive photo.
