Greenland has received an increased 2009 quota of cod and haddock in Russian waters while Russia has been afforded a small increase in its pelagic redfish quota and an increase in its Greenland halibut quota in Greenland waters, according to Greenland's Fisheries Agency.
"With current fish prices we see the quota exchange between Russia and Greenland as having been improved in Greenland's favour... The Agency sees the agreement as being of great value for both countries," the agency says in a release on its home page.
