Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen says that if the financial crisis depeens, the government is prepared to pump more money into the economy.
"The government takes the situation seriously and we are following developments closely . I would like to make it clear that Denmark is better prepared than other countries for an economic downturn. We have reduced our debt, we have low unemployment and we are in control of public finances," the prime minister said at his weekly news conference.
