Cimber Air has bought central parts of the bankrupt Sterling Airways, according to a press release from Cimber. The release also says that Sterling will continue under the same name and as an independent airline.

Cimber has acquired a number of Sterling’s departure slots and the company’s homepage, sterling.com. The deal does not include aircraft and personnel, the company says.
