Customers at Denmark's two largest banks are tangled up in the Madoff scandal in the United States - according to Nordea and Danske Bank. The banks themselves have not been involved.
Danske Bank says that some of its private banking customers - that is customers with particularly large fortunes - have capital at risk. These are funds to the tune of some 10 million euro that some 600 investors have placed with the Danske Leveraged Funds Balance investment fund.
