Experts: Confusion about banking package

The Danish government may be working on a bank recovery plan of historic proportions, but the major banks themselves say that they have enough capital, according to Berlingske Tidende - despite the fact that companies are complaining that they are unable to get the liquidity they need.

The disclosure has prompted a couple of Denmark's leading banking experts to question whether the government's bank recovery package of upwards of 100 billion kroner is necessary.
