2008 worst ever year for shares

The year 2008 saw the worst ever year for Danish stock. Since the beginning of the year, shares have shed some DKK 665 billion.

"A vast amount of money has disappeared, and that is something that affects us all. We are all the ones who own shares - whether it's through pensions, investments or other companies," says Danske Bank Private Finance Head Las Olsen.
